About
Fifteen years in marketing, from growth hacking to enterprise B2B SaaS, without the industry fluff.
I’m Erin Mulaney. I’ve worked in marketing for 15 years, from “growth hacking” in the tech bubble to traditional enterprise B2B SaaS marketing. I’ve watched good work get buried under new names for old tactics, dashboards nobody uses to make a decision, and confident advice from people who don’t have to live with the result.
I’m tired of it. I write here about what helps buyers understand a product, what wastes a team’s time, and which software is worth tolerating. When I think something is rubbish, I’ll say so without building a framework around it.
I’ll be clear about what I know. A hands-on review means I’ve used the product. If a piece is based on research, I’ll say so. If a feature changes, I’ll check the current version; if I get something wrong, I’ll correct it. Experience helps me make a call. It doesn’t make every call right.
You can disagree with my conclusions. I’d rather give you something to argue with than another carefully balanced page that says nothing.
